Background

From defense work to Memberium.

David has described his work the same way for two decades: code is the ultimate box of legos, and business gives purpose to the creations. He founded Web Power & Light in 2006 on that premise and started Memberium in 2012 because the existing membership plugins couldn’t keep up with high-volume sites.

Before Memberium, David led IT and security work in environments ranging from the Defense Department to subscription businesses. He directed the Fortezza program at Litronic, building PKI and smart-card middleware for the Defense Messaging System. He served as VP of Technology at OneCoach, where he cut IT spend by $250,000 in his first three months while improving service. A decade of consulting work filled the gaps between.

David works in PHP and SQL, on the Memberium connector layer he started in 2012. The original Infusionsoft integration has since been joined by ActiveCampaign, FluentCRM, and HubSpot, added one platform at a time.
